We are so incredibly grateful for your support of Doomscroll - the fantasy social media card game. We've raised over $4,500 thus far, and we're on track to fund within the first week!
Below are some exciting updates, contests, stretch goals & more!
1. First Become a Doomscroll Card Pledged - 3 More Left
Our top stretch goal - BECOMING a character in a Post Card in Doomscroll, had its first backer on Day One! We're working with the backer to begin their card... stay tuned to see the sketches, character, and post come to life.
If you're getting a bit of FOMO hearing the news, there's still 3 slots left on that pledge to make yourself or a loved one into a character FOREVER in Doomscroll. Who's next?!
2. Stretch Goal #1 Preview - Upgraded Doomscroll Player Boards
With our funding goal within reach, let's talk about our first stretch goal... upgraded player boards! Our current prototypes use a folding card stock to create the Doomscroll board. If we achieve that $15,000 stretch goal, we'll upgrade those boards to greyboard with a nice matte lamination.
How can you help make these upgraded boards a reality? Share the Doomscroll Kickstarter with friends, family, and anyone else who might be interested in our humorous yet strategic card game!
3. Upcoming Contest - Write the Flavor Text for Our Cards & Win!
We've got some fun contests planned for the next few weeks of our Kickstarter campaign. First up? Write the flavor text for one of our Post Cards! We'll give you the card character and name/handle, and you tell us what they would post about in our fantasy steampunk world.
The best part? Whoever has the best idea wins a FREE copy of Doomscroll. How about that?
