Hi Fellow Doomscrollers!
The day is finally here! Doomscroll officially began shipping out of our fulfillment centers on the way to your doorstep. I cannot express enough just how thankful I am to YOU ALL for supporting us. Your pledges allowed us to complete our manufacturing run, survive the 20% tariff we incurred, and finish the additional card art for the Ad Cards in Doomscroll. YOU ROCK.
Below are a couple of other quick details:
1. Keep an Eye Out for Order Confirmation Emails and/or Texts
Soon you (likely) will see an order shipment confirmation email or text from efulfillment services. The sender will be GamestormEDU and the email address will be [email protected]. Be sure to check your spam/filters too just in case! It will look something like the image below:
Please let me know if you don't receive your game in the next few weeks. Some common reasons you may not receive your game:
Kickstarter pledge or BackerKit survey was incomplete in terms of shipping info
Declined card when adding on items in BackerKit survey after Kickstarter
I secretly am plotting against you via poor customer service

2. Doomscroll Mini Expansions are Still Available But Running Out!
We currently have about 36 copies of Doomscroll Mini Expansion left at our fulfillment center, and I'm still kicking around whether we'll do another run of them. If you want to secure yours before they inevitably skyrocket in value and begin selling for $57,341 on eBay, get yours from our GamestormEDU site today!
Because you are all SUCH LOYAL FANS, we are excited to give you a sneak peak at the rough draft logo for our next game... Fantasy Loot Brawl! In FLB, you and your teammates are aiming to draft the perfect team, duel other players' lineups, and debate who put together the perfect collection of players... about ANY SUBJECT! That's right - it's a fantasy league about anything - the best restaurants, the best dystopian novels, the best guilty pleasure foods... you name it!

May Update - More Doomscroll Mini-Expansions Available, Print n Plays are Sent & More!

Hi Fellow Doomscrollers,
With every boat trip, train delivery, and truckload, we're getting closer to Doomscroll arriving on your doorstep. Below are some BIG updates regarding your games!
1. Doomscroll is in Chicago - Next Stop... Fufillment Center!
Yes, you heard correctly - Doomscroll is unloading from its train trip in Chicago and will soon hop in a truck towards Efulfillment, our shipping partner. They will then begin sending out your orders! We expect Doomscroll to arrive at Efulfillment early next week (5/12-5/14) and then the orders will be sorted, boxed, and shipped. This means your games should arrive at the end of May for U.S. backers and early June for our international friends. Get excited!
What we imagine will be delivering your Doomscroll games to your home.
This timeline is slightly later than we last shared, but we got some less-than-fun news last week that our shipping container had been flagged for x-ray scans in the L.A. port. Those customs scans set us back a week on our schedule, sadly. We hope this is the last curveball thrown at us from a logistics standpoint, heh.
2. Doomscroll Mini-Expansions are BACK IN STOCK - Edit or Complete Pledge Surveys to Get Yours!
We were completely blown away by the demand for our mini-expansions of Doomscroll... so much that we ordered another 100 copies to make sure anyone who wanted a copy could get one! If you missed out when completing your BackerKit Survey, head back and edit your survey to get yours today!

Speaking of Backerkit surveys, we will be locking those down SOON! We have about 80% completed - help us get your copies to you by completing your survey today!
3. Digital Print and Play Files Have Been Sent! Let Us Know If You Missed Yours
If you Kickstarted Doomscroll at the Print and Play level or added it on via BackerKit, you should have received your .zip file via email. If for any reason you don't see your download, go ahead and reach out via Messages and we'll help you out.

April Update - Complete Your Surveys, Mini-Expansion, Doomscroll Has Landed & More!

Hi Fellow Doomscrollers!
We're getting oh-so-close to getting Doomscroll in your hands. Below are some updates and steps you can take to ensure you get your copy as soon as possible.
1. BackerKit Surveys Are Out- Confirm Address & Order Add-ons
One of the most important parts of fulfilling a Kickstarter is getting accurate addresses, and we do ours through BackerKit! You'll get your Backerkit Survey (or you've already gotten it), and that will allow you to confirm/update your address for shipping, as well as add on copies of Doomscroll or our first launch, Gamestormers.
You will get an email from GamestormEDU with BackerKit as the addressed sender - this will have a link to your survey in it! Below is what the landing page of the BackerKit survey looks like:
Please fill out the survey as soon as possible so we can lock in your address for shipping! Thanks!
2. Doomscroll Mini-Expansions - Get Em Before They're Gone & Shipping Update
As some of you may already know, the 16 Card Doomscroll Mini-Expansions are beginning to ship! If you ordered your Mini-Expansion prior to the Kickstarter or during the Kickstarter campaign, your expansion should be on the way (there may be an international backer or two who is still scheduled to receive it - just an FYI). Next up to get their copy would be our post-campaign purchasers.
If you HAVEN'T ordered your 16 Card Doomscroll Mini-Expansion, there's still a few left! We have about 55 remaining as of this message, so get yours before they are gone. You can either order one from our website OR add it on when filling out your backer survey. Below is an adorable picture of my daughters checking EVERY copy of the mini-expansion for quality production, heh.
Our Doomscroll fairies are working hard to fulfill your Mini-Expansion orders (note: my daughters are NOT being used for child labor - they just REALLY love checking out our expansions)!
3. Doomscroll Timeline - Getting on a Train!
Great news - Doomscroll landed in Los Angeles on Monday, April 14th. Next stop - Chicago via train! We anticipate Doomscroll will roll into Chicago for transit offboarding around April 24th, and then it's off to our fulfillment center in Michigan. Efulfillment, our partner to ship our games, will likely get the games around May 5th or 6th, and then need around two weeks to prep the shipments. Around May 20th, they will begin shipping to all of you!
Live look at your game being flown to your house (probably).
For our PnP friends, you will be getting your files soon via the email you provided during the campaign. Our game assets will come as .zip file that you can unzip for the full, high-quality assets that are optimized for printing.
One error that I did not catch before our campaign went live - some of you were accidentally charged $5 for shipping on your print-only order. My bad! I'll be issuing refunds either through Kickstarter or BackerKit. If you for some reason do not receive that refund in the coming weeks, please reach out!

March Update - Bad News: Production Issue Delay - Good News: Expansion DONE

Hi Fellow Doomscrollers!
So... we've got good news, and we've got bad news. I've always preferred to lead with the bad news and end with good news, so let's give that a go!
1. Bad News - Game Board Production Error Delaying Freight Departure
In early March, we were looking good for Doomscroll to leave port around March 17th. However, I received word from our manufacturer, LongPack, that our game boards came out of mass production with glue marks. Suffice it to say, neither LongPack nor myself wanted you to get subpar components, and so they needed to re-run the entire 1,500 copies of the game boards we ordered, heh.
The good news? It's done now, and LongPack (as well as our logistics partners) have confirmed that Doomscroll will leave the production facility TOMORROW for port. So, here's a few key dates for Doomscroll on its travels:
April 3rd - Doomscroll scheduled to leave China for the U.S.
April 17th - Arrive at Los Angeles Port
April 27th - Arrive at Chicago Transfer Station
May 1st - Arrive at Fulfillment Center in Traverse City, Michigan
From there, our fulfillment partner, efulfillment, will begin prepping your Kickstarter orders for shipment!
What we assume it looks like at the Shanghai port as Doomscroll is loaded onto the boats in a few days!
2. Bad/Good News - More Tariffs for Me, Not You!
As you may recall from our last update, the United States placed a 10% tariff on goods coming in from China... which means Doomscroll too! And, as a bonus, that was raised to 20% at the beginning of March. Hooray (cue sad trombone).
We of course did NOT see a 20% increase in costs when we created our Kickstarter, but we have decided NOT to pass on that cost to you, our wonderful backers. Instead, we have made the difficult decision to raise the MSRP on Doomscroll for those who purchase our game via online and retail channels $5. This means you are getting Doomscroll for an even better price! And, if you have any friends/family/enemies who want that same low price, we are keeping a discount on any pre-orders made before our May retail release!
3. Good News - Doomscroll Mini-Expansion Done Early!
Between the production delay and more tariffs, it was a fairly unfortunate month overall... until we received some great news about our Doomscroll Mini-Expansion - it was finished early! We should be receiving the Mini-expansion decks this Friday, and we will send them out to folks who pre-ordered it first. Any remaining copies are now up for grabs for only $5 - you can score your copy today!
I just want to thank all of you for your incredible patience with us as we navigate these unexpected challenges. The good news is that your games are finished and heading to port, so there's a light at the end of the tunnel. We cannot wait for you to try Doomscroll!

Doomscroll February Update - Tariffs for Me but NOT for Thee!

Hi Fellow Doomscrollers!
With the Doomscroll production winding down, the anticipation is getting REAL. We've got some updates about fun topics like timelines, tariffs, and tasty deals - check it out below!
1. Tariffs will NOT affect your Doomscroll price or shipping - but will likely affect retail prices
As you may have heard, President Trump placed a 10 percent tariff on imported goods from China. Our manufacturing run of Doomscroll is affected by this tariff, as it impacts anything exported after February 1st. If you're wondering if we're annoyed that we didn't get the game out before then, the answer is a wholehearted yes, heh!
However, we are electing NOT to pass that 10% onto Kickstarter backers or pre-order folks like all of YOU! That is our choice as a company, but we ARE likely going to bake that cost into shipping expenses for anyone purchasing the game during our retail sale and post-launch online sales.
2. Timeline Update - Manufacturing Wraps in Early March, Then onto the Boat!
First good news - no tariff upcharge! Second good news - we're on track for April delivery of your Doomscroll game! Longpack confirmed that Doomscroll manufacturing and assembly should wrap in the first week of March. Then the game heads to port and onto a boat headed for beautiful California! We expect the game to arrive in the US in early April.
From there, the games will head up to Traverse City, Michigan, to begin fulfillment in the U.S. and beyond. We're planning for folks to get games in hand by the second half of April!
3. Doomscroll Mini-Expansion Available - 16 Additional Post Cards!
As you may recall, we recently announced that our Doomscroll Mini-Expansion will now be SIXTEEN cards instead of eight ... and we want to share it all with you! If you want to secure your copy of the Mini-Expansion, you can pre-order it on our site for a mere $5!
